Hi, I'm Mikayla! I'm twenty-nine years old and currently live in the often forgotten Canadian province of Nova Scotia. By day, I'm a proud Early Childhood Educator/Director to a small daycare, and love every minute of it.I grew up in several small towns but my heart belongs to the big city life. I am a mom of two beautiful children, Charlotte and Henry who have my whole heart. I am also a furmom to one mischievous kitty named Matilda. I openly admit that I have inattentive ADHD with a brain of a goldfish. My thoughts are quick and I often need reminders to slow down when I talk.
I've created this blog as a way to talk about my interests, everyday mom life and whatever else might come my way! I love music, having fun, hoarding makeup, reading books, and being crafty so look out for posts on those topics and more!
The inspiration behind my blog name is quite simple! Thatluckieone is a spin on my uncommon last name Luckie. Crazy, right? I know. Most people don't believe me when I tell them that it's my last name but I promise there are no lies here! It's actually kind of ironic because I have the worst luck in the world but that's a story for another time.
I'm excited to finally get this blog started and I hope that you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing it for you!
